Rich in color, texture and movement, Les Powers' deep passion for capturing the essence of nature is seen in each of his stunning mixed media sculptures.  For more than 30 years, he has designed incredible free standing and wall sculptures, as well as furniture.  His deep appreciation for desert landscapes is evident with each aspiring piece.  Powers' work is characterized by the use of hand-picked native Southwestern materials such as dazzling golden sandstone, mahogany, lacewood, wenge, rosewood, red gum, tigerwood, purpleheart, and luscious turquoise inlays with walnut, just to name a few.
